Our Light Duty stand is most suited to home use and is very low cost for an effective pan stand. It is safe to hold up your pan instrument and can be partly disassembled quickly for occasional travel, but is not designed to hold up to the rigors of regular road use or pan ensembles that break down and set their equipment back up every day. The pipes are metal but hollow. This stand will last for years with care and adult use. Not recommended for homes with boisterous toddlers, since the pipes can be dented if kicked, etc.
